Neda Wo

Neda moved to El Dorado Hills in 2018 with her husband and two children, and has since become an integral part of the local community.With a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology from UC Davis, Neda's early career was rooted in the sciences. She worked in an Immunology lab before pursuing her Biology and Chemistry Teaching Credentials, which led her to a fulfilling role as a science teacher in public schools. Her dedication to STEM education shaped her professional path and fueled her passion for nurturing curiosity and learning in students.
Currently, Neda is making an impact in the technology industry while continuing to inspire others through her part-time role as a fitness coach. Her enthusiasm for fitness and wellness complements her commitment to building a healthier, more connected community.

​Karen Jakovac

​Karen grew up in rural Wyoming and has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Wyoming. She and her husband Brett were nomads for a few years, living in New Mexico, Montana, and Mississippi, before settling back in Montana to raise their family. After several years as a stay-at-home Mom, Karen found her passion in non-profit accounting. During her time in Montana she was the Finance Director for Helena Food Share, Holter Museum of Art, and The Myrna Loy Center for Performing Arts. In addition, Karen has served as the Board Treasurer for the Montana Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter, Helena Area Community Foundation and Cohesion Dance Project. Karen is a licensed fitness instructor, teaching the Nia Technique in which she has a First Degree Black Belt. In need of an adventure, Karen and Brett moved to El Dorado Hills in July 2019. They have a daughter and son in college at Montana State University and a daughter at the University of Alabama.

Goga Moore

Goga was born in Croatia and immigrated to the US after discovering her passion for computer science. Realizing that she would not be able to pursue that education in Croatia after the war, she chose to attend   Cal Poly SLO. After graduating with   a degree in MIS she moved to the Sacramento area where she worked as a software developer for 19 years.
Goga currently works in cybersecurity at BSC.    In her spare time, she volunteers for organizations focused on providing equal and equitable access to people with disabilities, which includes raising puppies who will become service dogs.
She lives in Folsom with her daughter who is equally involved in helping our community.

Amy Schroeder

​Amy started her career in Special Education in 1998 as a classroom aide at Sacramento’s ABC School. Shortly after graduating from California State University, Sacramento, with degrees in Psychology and Child Development, she took a position with Alta California Regional Center, coordinating services and advocacy for children, ages 3-18, with various developmental disabilities. The field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) called her back and she returned to working with children with autism, this time consulting and managing in-home programs. As her own children grew, Amy looked for ways to bring fun and natural learning into ABA programs for children with autism. She opened Square One Autism Services with her two business partners in September of 2008. With a strong desire to serve her native El Dorado County, Amy returned to El Dorado Hills in 2009. Over the course of the past 10+ years, Square One has provided play-based ABA intervention for hundreds of children and young adults throughout the El Dorado, Placer, Yolo, Sacramento and San Joaquin counties. Amy feels passionate about finding the fun in learning and helping her clients access leisure and recreation opportunities in their communities. Today, Amy continues to support Square One managing the HR and financial departments, while also raising her own 5 children with her husband of 20 years.

​Nikki Scott

​Nikki Scott has worked in the legal field for almost ten years as a legal assistant at a prestigious firm in Fort Worth, TX. Her work focuses on Social Security Disability and personal injury matters. Nikki was born in Illinois but has lived in Texas for 35 years. She graduated from Fossil Ridge High School in 2000 with Holly, Austin’s mom. Holly and Nikki have been friends since meeting at the bus stop in the 5th grade. Nikki is married to Eric and their pride and joy is their daughter, Izzie. In her free time, Nikki enjoys reading, watching football and attending all of her daughter’s sports and extracurricular activities. She is an avid Chicago Bears fan.
